Today I'll talking about Marbula One GP Race 2 in O'raceway.
今回はマービュラ・ワン(以下M1と略記)グランプリ 第2レースの模様をお送りします。
About course(コースについて)
The O'raceway, Course of the O'rangers, is venue of Marbula One GP Race 2.
M1第2レースの会場は、オレンジャースの本拠地であるオ・レースウェイです。
This course contains 11 turns and 3 features(2 splits and a section of sand).
カーブが11ヶ所、ギミックが3ヶ所(分岐点が2ヶ所と砂地の区間)あります。
The total length of the course is 1.24 meters longer than the Savage Speedway (venue of Race 1, course of the Savage Speeders) but the number of features is smaller than that track.
1周の長さはサベージ・スピードウェイ(第1レースの会場、サベージ・スピーダーズの本拠地)よりも1.24m長いのですがギミックの数は向こうより1つ少なくなっております。
However, what makes this course unique is its sandy section. The ability to respond to the sand course will be the key to winning or losing.
ですがこのコースの特徴は何といっても砂の区間にあります。砂のコースにどれだけ対応できるかが勝敗を分けるカギとなるでしょう。

Qualifying(予選)
In a qualifying, Wospy(Midnight Wisps) in Group 2 and Smoggy(Hazers) in Group 3 performed very well, but finally Wospy got the pole position.
予選では、予選第2グループを走ったウォスピィ(ミッドナイト・ウィスプス)と第3グループを走ったスモッギィ(ヘイザース)が大健闘しましたが、ポールポジションを得たのはウォスピィでした。
In contrast, Mary (Team Primary) wasted a lot of time by getting stack in the second split, which made it start from the end.
一方でマリー(チーム・プライマリー)は2つ目の分岐に引っかかってタイムロスをしてしまったため、最後尾からのスタートとなってしまいました。
Orangin(O'rangers), which performs on the course he(she?) used to, disappointingly got the second position from the end. However, in the first race, Speedy(Savage Speeders), which started from the end, finished in 5th place. So there is plenty of room for reversal.
オレンジン(オ・レンジャース)は最後尾から2番目という位置になってしまいました。しかし、第1レースでは最後尾スタートとなったスピーディ(サベージ・スピーダーズ)が5位でフィニッシュするという展開になったため、逆転の余地は十分にあるといえます。
Main race(本戦)
In this race, Billy(Green Ducks) kept the sand areas on his side, rising to second place at a dash on the first lap, overtaking Smoggy to take the lead between the sand areas on the third lap, and after that he showed an overwhelming run all the time.
本戦ではビリー(グリーン・ダックス)が砂地区間を味方につけ、1周目では一気に2位に2位に浮上、3周目の砂地区間でスモッギィを抜き去ってトップに立ち、その後も他を寄せ付けない終始圧倒的な走りを見せつけました。
Behind him, there was a fierce battle for second place between Smoggy and Rapidly(Savage Speeders). It was Rapidly that won the close match that lasted until the final lap.
その後ろではスモッギィとラピッドリィ(サベージ・スピーダーズ)の激しい2位争い。最終ラップまで続いた接戦を最後に制したのはラピッドリィでした。
On the other hand, it became the first race with a yellow flag(flag to signal occurrence of accident) because there was an incident that Wospy fell down conveyor belt on lap 4. After that Wospy got stuck near the exit of the pit, and was unable to move until he was pushed by Rapidly. As a result, Midnight Wisps was dropped into the bottom from the pole position.
一方で、今回は初めてイエローフラッグ(事故の発生を知らせる旗)が掲げられたレースでもありました。ウォスピィが4周目でコンベアから滑落してしまったためです。その後ウォスピィはピット出口付近で立ち往生し、ラピッドリィに押されるまでは身動きが取れなかったため周回遅れとなってしまいました。幸いにも大事には至りませんでしたが、これが影響してミッドナイト・ウィスプスはポールポジションから最下位まで叩き落されることになります。
Review(総括)
I think there wasn't any significant change in position in this race, except for Wospy's sudden fall from pole position in an accident. If I must say, Rezzy(Raspberry Racers), which started from the 3rd position, came in 8th but avoided to finish without getting a score, and Snowflake(Snowballs), which started from 4th position from the end, showed good chasing up and won 8pts.
今回はウォスピィがアクシデントでポールポジションから一気に転落したことを除くと、大きな順位の変動は見られなかったように思います。しいて言えば3番目からスタートしていたレジー(ラズベリー・レーサーズ)が8位となってしまいましたが、無得点とはならずに踏みとどまっているほか、スノーフレーク(スノーボールス)は後ろから4番目というポジションからいい追い上げを見せ、8ポイントを獲得しました。
O'rangers tried to chase up from the bottom as a host team as they did last time Savage Speeders did, but they couldn't do it. Their fans could have been so disappointed.
本拠地でのレースとなったオ・レンジャースは前回サベージ・スピーダーズがやったような下位からの追い上げを試みましたが、上手くはいかなかったようです。ファンはがっかりさせられたことでしょう。
Green Ducks not only won the race, but also recorded the fastest lap and earned one bonus point. This allowed Green Ducks to take part in the Championship competition.
グリーン・ダックスはこのレースに勝利しただけでなくファステストラップ(最も速いラップタイムを記録した選手)をも記録し、1点のボーナスポイントを獲得しました。これにより、グリーン・ダックスは優勝争いに加担することになります。
Personally, Hazers, Savage Speeders and Snowballs seem to be relatively stable in the two races. I hope for their future.
個人的にはヘイザース、サベージ・スピーダーズ、スノー・ボールスの3チームはここまでのレースで比較的安定した成績を保てていると思います。彼らの今後に期待がかかります。
About the next GP & Others(次回レースとその他の事項)
The next venue is Momotorway, Course of the Team Momo. Complex corners are continuous in the early course, and there are features, including new ones, in the middle course.
次回の開催地はチーム・モモの本拠地、モモーターウェイです。序盤にはコーナーが連続し、中盤では新出らしきものを含めギミックが多くなっています。
Also, committee made such a statement about Wospy.
また、委員会からウォスピィについて以下のような発表がありました。
After thorough overnight medical evaluation and treatment, Wospy has been cleared by medical officials and has been discharged from the hospital early this morning. Wospy will require at least one week of rest to recover, and they will not return to training at this time.

夜を徹した徹底的な医学的評価と治療の末、ウォスピィは医療関係者によって競技の続行を承認され、今朝早くに退院しました。 ウォスピィは回復のために少なくとも1週間の休養が必要であり、現時点ではトレーニングに戻らない見通しです。
Wospy is expected to return to the track after a week's rest. I'm glad it seems like Wospy is okay. I look forward to his return.
Wospyは1週間程度の休養を経た後、トラックに戻ってくると思われます。大事に至らなくて本当に良かったです。彼の復帰後の活躍に期待しましょう。
