Today I'll talking about Marbula One GP Race 4 in O'raceway.
今回はマービュラ・ワン(以下M1と略記)グランプリ 第4レースの模様をお送りします。
Starting this week, the standings will be announced to the community one day before the qualifying starts. I will quote here.
今週からは予選開始1日前に順位表がコミュニティで発表されるようになりました。こちらでも引用しようと思います。
About course(コースについて)
The Hivedrive, Course of the Hornets, is venue of Marbula One GP Race 4.
M1第4レースの会場は、ホーネッツの本拠地であるハイブドライブです。
Although there are 10 curves and less than other courses, this course is characterized by the Gravitrax section.
カーブが10ヶ所と少なめですが、このコースの特徴は何といってもグラビトラックス区間にあります。
Here is a reference video of the Gravitrax section.
これが参考動画です。
From the reference video, it is considered that there is a possibility that marbles will slow down or stop due to unevenness in this section.
参考動画からは、この区間の凹凸によって選手が減速、あるいは停止してしまう可能性が考えられます。
Like the O'raceway, the winner of this special section will win this race.
オ・レースウェイ同様、この特殊な区間を制した者がこのレースの勝者となるでしょう。

Qualifying(予選)
In a qualifying, Orangin(O'rangers) and Snowflake(Snowballs) in Group 3 performed well, but finally Snowflake got the pole position.
予選では、予選第2グループを走ったオレンジン(オ・レンジャース)とスノーフレーク(スノーボールス)が好成績を出しましたが、最終的にポールポジションを得たのはスノーフレークでした。
Ont the other hand, Greg Woods, the commentary of Marble League & Marbula One, mentioned "the curse of the host."
そして今回はなんとマーブルリーグとM1の解説を務めるグレッグ・ウッズ氏がついに「ホストの呪い」に言及。
However, certainly no host team has managed to make it to the top in qualifying so far.
しかし、今まで予選でいい成績を残せたホストチームがなかったのは確かです。
Even the Savage Speeders, recording a fastest lap and making it to the 5th place in the main race as the host, were at last place in qualifying.
ホストチームとしては本戦でファステストラップを記録し5位に食い込んだサベージ・スピーダーズでさえ、予選では最下位だったのです。
Which team can break this curse?
この「呪い」を打ち破るのは果たしてどのチームなのでしょうか？
Main race(本戦)
For Wospy(Midnight Wisps), who had been injured week before last, this race was a return race, and Wospy has been running lightly from the beginning.
先々週にケガを負ったウォスピィ(ミッドナイト・ウィスプス)にとっては復帰戦となった今回のレース、ウォスピィは序盤から軽快な走りを見せます。
After finishing ten weeks while maintaining the top position, he was on the podium. What was an injury...?
そして上位を保ったまま10週を終え、なんと表彰台に上ることとなりました。ケガとは何だったのか…
In this race, Rapidly(Savage Speeders) took the lead in the middle of the race, but on the 9th lap he slowed down significantly in the Gravitrax section and Pulsar(Team Galactic) didn't miss this chance.
そんな今回のレースではラピッドリィ(サベージ・スピーダーズ)が中盤でリードを奪いましたが、9周目のグラビトラックス区間で大幅に減速してしまいます。この隙を逃さなかったのがパルサー(チーム・ギャラクティック)でした。
Pulsar passed Rapidly and accrossed the goal line without being caught up. This gave Team Galactic a second victory and Savage Speeders a second runner-up.
パルサーはラピッドリィを抜き去り、そのまま後続に追いつかせずにゴールラインを切りました。これにより、チーム・ギャラクティックは二度目の栄冠を勝ち取り、サベージ・スピーダーズは二度目の準優勝となりました。
Review(総括)
Smoggy(Hazers) recorded the fastest lap in the final lap. Helped by the speed of the final lap, he was fourth in the last Gravitrax section, overtaking Yellup(Mellow Yellow).
スモッギィ(ヘイザース)がファイナルラップでファステストラップを記録しました。ファイナルラップでの速さが手伝い、スモッギィは最後のGravitrax区間でイェラップ(メロー・イエロー)を追い越して4位になりました。
Looking at the overall standings, I feel that a team that has earned some points in all races, such as Hathers and Savage Speeders, may be ranked higher in the overall standings.
総合順位を見ていると、ヘイザースやサベージ・スピーダーズといった、どのレースでも上位に立ってある程度ポイントを稼いでいるチームが総合順位でも上位に立てるのではないだろうかという気がします。
About the next GP & Others(次回レースとその他の事項)
The next venue is the Greenstone, Course of the Green Ducks.
次回の開催地はグリーンストーン、グリーン・ダックスの本拠地です。
It doesn't seem to have complicated features, but it feels like there are many corners. Even a straight-weak team may have a chance to rank higher.
複雑なギミックはないようですが、その分複雑なコーナーが多いようです。そのため、直線に弱いチームにも優勝の機会があるのではないでしょうか。
